Book Splurge [22]: Mother-Daughter Haul (3)

The little darling and I have been stacking our shelves lately with really good finds from various bookstores. We usually go on these book-buying sprees when we take a short trip to the mall after her Gymboree classes on the weekends, and I buy her a title or two each time. When I visit the nearest bargain bookstore, I also make sure to check the new children's books for interesting titles. Here are our latest haul:

  • The Prince Won't Go To Bed! by Dayle Ann Dodds and Kyrsten Brooker - from Book Sale Robinsons Ermita
  • Have You Seen My Duckling? by Nancy Tafuri - from Fully Booked - MOA
  • Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe from Book Sale Robinsons Ermita - The only book that's mine from this pile.

These are the titles that the little girl and I are sharing:
  • Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss - Our very first Dr. Seuss! :D
  • Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman - The author's latest.
  • The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean
Until our next book-shopping! ;)

It's nice to see mother-daughter hauls every so often. I think 99.99% of the time, my book purchases are solely for my benefit!

And, Fortunately, the Milk! Woot!
