Unwitting Winners
Remember this post, where I showed off 3 copies of the book for my November F2F discussion, Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian, which I am giving away?
In that post, I also asked readers to suggest mechanics or ways of picking the lucky recipients of the book. To be candid, when I wrote that post, my question was sincere, as I really had no brilliant idea how to choose (drawing lots seems so boring, and I've done that before). The (few) people who left comments gave some tips, which are all very helpful indeed. But then it dawned on me: why not save myself the trouble and just give the books to those who actually took the time to think up and give me their suggestions?
I reviewed the comments section again. There were 4 (Alexa [thecodenamebluee], Bennard [thebookhooligan], Tina and Aaron) who offered suggestions, and I only have 3 books to give away. But Tina already has a copy, see, which leaves Alexa, Bennard and Aaron. Perfect three! :D
Congratulations, Alexa, Bennard and Aaron! You each get an MMP copy of The Historian! :)
And while I would truly appreciate your presence on the November F2F, I will not compel you to attend if you can't make it for whatever reason. It will just make me very happy if you will read the book anyway, at your own time, pleasure and pace, and consider it a memento from me. :)

By the way, I'm in Manila last week of October. I hope the F2F falls on that week so I can attend. ;)
And I think I have the perfect gift for your birthday! :D
And yay, congrats to those who won! :)
MONIQUE: Yaay! What is it? *hint hint* :D
